Like you, she’ll also enjoy up to 10 years of safe, convenient, and fuss-free periods. Each donation is always paired with education and ongoing support. To this end, they work closely with local partners to provide sustained support in the form of follow-up visits, peer mentorship, and the Ruby Cup champions program, all of which help provide support to the girls whilst they are learning how to use the cup.
Thanks to that, 80% of their participants are still using their cup after one year,
and 90% would recommend it to their friends.
How To Choose The Right Size:
The Ruby Cup comes in two sizes: Small and Medium.
The two key factors to look out for when choosing the right size are:
Position of your cervix
Heaviness of your menstrual flow
*We do not recommend that you choose your menstrual cup based on whether you have already had sex, given birth, or your age. Each body is anatomically unique, which means these are not very reliable factors.
Have a look at this chart to see which is the right size for you:
Instructions For Use:
1. Fold the Ruby Cup using a fold that works best for you.
2. Gently insert the folded cup as you would a tampon. When the cup is inside, it will pop open, creating a light suction.
3. Use it up to 12 hours
4. Gently pull the stem downwards until you can reach & grip the base of the cup. Pinch the base to release the suction & take it out gently. Empty it into the toilet & rinse with water.
